Ryder & Voyager. Goalie. Surgeon Deck. u/NSNIA laid out the timeline in a dry post that asks, simply, where the new decks are. It is the top post of the day at 1,140 points and a 0.93 ratio, which means almost no one is downvoting it. The top comment, at 483 points, is u/OpinionElectronic349's guess: "Probably 30th October 2026." The cynicism is earned.
Below it, things are less unified. u/Butt_Piracy111's clip of a perfectly timed zipline extraction after a core heist sits at 1,115 points. The comments are full of raiders vowing never to share the core again. "So many not contributing anything are swooping in and looting," u/mnemy wrote at 226 points. The trader has changed who shows up to these fights. The clip is funny. The feeling underneath it is not.
Then there is the fight about the fighting. u/Von_Sauerkraut's post with the all-caps title "ABSOLUTELY NO CRITICISM ALLOWED" accuses the mods of nuking any serious criticism of Embark. It sits at 1,002 points and a 0.83 ratio, with 301 comments. "Damage control is strong lately, but deleting stuff will not make the problems go away," u/marniconuke wrote at 278 points. In a separate thread, the Ossen in-game ban drama resurfaces with 275 points and a similar ratio. The subreddit is not united on whether these complaints are valid, but it is united in upvoting them to the front page.
u/EinTheDataDoge saw all this and posted a counter: "Can you quit this sub too?" It has 386 points and a 0.67 ratio, the most contentious post of the day. The top comment, though, is a reply from u/blakelylol at 267 points: "If there is one thing that people have the right to cry about it is cheaters. It is a massive issue and it will slowly kill this game if not taken seriously." The meta-fight stalls out on a point nearly everyone agrees on.
Meanwhile, the gameplay complaints keep coming in smaller threads. u/Bumblingbee1337 asks what happened to matchmaking and gets 342 comments. u/IGogosI lists evidence of a seed vault nerf that no one is talking about. u/YearMountain3773 suggests a Matriarch on the beach and gets 535 upvotes for the idea of a "GIANT SURVEYOR." The mood is not collapsing. It is restless.
The deck drought thread is notable because it broke through without becoming a proxy war about PvP, cheaters, or moderation. u/Inside_Courage_6707 said it plainly: "Yup I kinda miss unlocking new things with my blue creds." That is a complaint with no enemy. Nobody is defending the three-month silence. The only reply is a joke about a date that does not exist. When the top grievance is that you have nothing to spend your currency on, the game is surviving. It is not growing.
"Probably 30th October 2026."

"Yeah.... this is why I dont bother sharing the core anymore if I hit it. So many not contributing anything are swooping in and looting, while those actually participating in the kill don't get shit."
