Embark Studios released patch 1.27.0 for ARC Raiders on May 5 across all platforms. The patch targets a handful of gameplay bugs that shipped with the recent Riven Tides update, plus audio issues and two new cosmetic bundles.
Gameplay fixes
exploring balancing adjustments to improve upon the changes introduced with Riven Tides.
Raiders caught by a Tick while carrying an item can now drop the carryable and fight back. Previously, the attack locked the player out of item drops and combat.
The Turbine received several corrections. Its long-range attacks were invisible to distant players; that is fixed. Proximity mines deployed by the Turbine are now easier to spot, and the machine's landing behavior has been tuned to avoid poor landing zones like treetops.
A quick-throw exploit that let Trigger 'Nades activate instantly has been closed. The fix forces the fuse time to behave as intended.
Audio
The Turbine's sound effects no longer quiet other game audio sources. Its audible range has been increased. Vegetation-heavy areas on Riven Tides now play proper audio feedback when players move through them. A glitch causing audio and animation desync on rapid item use has been corrected.
World fixes
Several holes and stuck spots on Riven Tides were patched. A floor gap that swallowed players is gone, and floating fruit baskets have been grounded. A wall in Stella Montis that allowed bullets to pass through now has proper collision. The POI on Riven Tides now accurately tracks progress for the "Off the Radar" quest. The Late Departure screen now displays Catch Up Rewards correctly.
